The Frostwing Halls, it was cold! Captain Brandon made us some hot chocolate. We still dont get it who invited him in our group, since hes wearing tier 8 10man gear. First we had to heal Valithria Dreamwalker, its always nice to blame the healers. After raging at dps that cant bite there target on Blood-Queen Lana'thel. But at the end of a raid we still make snow angels together. Next stop Sindragosa!
So we decided to get some Vampire action. After Putricide and Lana'thel had a nice vacation last week. Yes blizzard, goodjob the boss wasnt even there last reset. After 4 attempts we had the biting order sorted and had our famous 400k hp wipe. Now we can focus on The Frostwing Halls.
HISTORY Blood-Queen Lana'thel is the leader of the San'layn, a sect of blood elves who were raised in undeath by the Lich King.
Following the destruction of their homeland, the determined blood elves began to regroup and rebuild. It was during this time that the battle-hardened warrior Lana'thel stumbled upon Quel'Delar, and soon afterward the greatest opportunity to use the blade presented itself: Prince Kael'thas Sunstrider raised an army and combined forces with Illidan Stormrage, who led them north to Icecrown on a mission to destroy the Lich King. Lana'thel readily followed her prince with one thought in mind -- revenge against the Scourge -- but only tragedy awaited her.
In the icy hills of Northrend, Arthas ultimately defeated Illidan and Kael'thas, and the expedition's few survivors were scattered across the frozen wastes. One by one the Lich King sought out those who had challenged him, and Lana'thel found herself cornered. Using Quel'Delar, she struck at him with all her might... but Frostmourne's evil powers overwhelmed her. Through his blade, the Lich King chose Lana'thel to serve him in undeath as blood-queen of the San'layn, a group responsible for overseeing the Scourge's operations across Azeroth.
Blood-Queen Lana'thel eagerly carried out her new duties, but every time she looked at her blade, maddening anger would swell within her as she remembered her former life. She could not afford such distractions, and with a scream that echoed throughout Icecrown, she shattered Quel'Delar and flung the fractured pieces as far as she could.
The Crimson Hall & Invincible Lore

We went with both 10mans to Icecrown Citadel. Blood-Queen Lana'thel was destroyed within a couple of tries. A fun encounter that requires abit of coordination and some vampire QQ. Two more bosses before we can face the Lich King himself. We are still searching for an active Resto druid!
Invincible was born to the mare Brightmane on the Balnir Farmstead in Tirisfal Glades, in the winter of the year Stormwind fell. Prince Arthas, then nine years old, was present when he was born, and was given the horse by the Balnir family, who bred horses used by the royal family. The horse had a white coat, different from the usual Balnir stock, which normally had gray coats. Arthas had considered naming the horse "Snowfall" or "Starlight", but in the informal tradition of Lordaeron knights and nobles naming their steeds after a quality (Uther's was "Steadfast", King Terenas' "Courageous"), he named the colt "Invincible".
Ten years later in winter, before Arthas was inducted into the Knights of the Silver Hand, Arthas' exertion in the numbing cold resulted in a crippling injury to his beloved Invincible. Too far from help and unable to heal the stricken horse, Arthas was forced to kill him in order to relieve his pain. He was buried on the grounds of the Balnir Farmstead at Arthas' request. Invincible's death was one of the events that inspired Arthas to become a paladin.
After the fall of Lordaeron years later, Arthas - now a death knight - ran directly from Lordaeron after murdering his father, to the Balnir Farmstead where Invicible was buried. With the power of Frostmourne, Arthas resurrected the horse as his undead steed. Now fully living up to his name, Invincible could become a spectre and disappear, to be resummoned by Arthas at any time.
During the Scourge's siege on the Sunwell, Anasterian Sunstrider confronted Arthas in single combat, severing Invincible's forelegs with his runeblade, Felo'melorn, to dismount him. Witnessing Invincible's injuries brought on a surge of memories and sent Arthas into a rage, during which he shattered Felo'melorn and struck down Anasterian. This time, however, Arthas was able to necromantically repair the injuries. It is likely that Invincible still serves as his master's steed, even after Arthas became the new Lich King, though Sindragosa has also been referred to as his mount.

Blood Prince(sses) Council
Thu - 21 Jan
Written by Dotted
The Blood Prince(sses) Council is a group of 3 of the strongest members of the San'layn, brought back by the Lich King to serve him once again. The princes(ses) Keleseth, Taldaram, and Valanar, easily dispatched by adventurers, now make their return in the Crimson Hall of Icecrown Citadel, refreshed and empowered. The Council needs to be defeated in order to gain access to the Royal Quarters.
After chilling on the start and 1 Shotting Esper & Knuffknuff on Lady Gaga when they got mind controlled. We started on the Blood Prince(sses) Council. The warlock tank was missing the connection between his eyes and brain and got 1 shotted several times. Oh yea just remembered, it was me tanking the boss! When we sorted the tanking it was a clean kill. We will now put our focus on Blood-Queen Lana'thel.
- Keleseth can melee the caster tank for 50-60k QQ
- Running towards a big glowing orb when chased will not give extra loot
After yesterdays Professor Putricide kill, We decided to give our 100% focus on 50 attempts Trial of the Grand Crusader.
A wise man told me in the past "a heroic anub'arak kill is nice but the real deal is 50 attempts"
Now time for some famous fight moments. Our blockgear tank Epix died at 9% and got battle ressed by Rhaiva within 2 seconds to pick up the adds that where being tanked by our melee players. Less QQ more pew pew.
The hard part about the fight is that you can never outgear the Leeching Swarm and Penetrating Cold combination. Thats also the part where most guilds are stuck. Just some extra advice for guilds that might be stuck on anub'arak.
- Judgement of light, Resto healingstream and Vampiric embrace can heal Leeching Swarm. - using 1 block tank will always be better then a 2 tank add setup. We even tried 2 block tanks and it was a #%$. - Enabling raid marks on grid will make the life of healers less stressful. - The famous Tuskarr's vitality enchant. 8% speed increase.
Two oozes, one room! So many delightful possibilities... After killing it on the 10man and converting it to a solid 25man tactic we came back to eat some ooze.
The lag was terrible again, our Abomination player disconnected on the pull. He logged in just before we wiped weirdly enough that didn't cost us an attempt. After that we rushed it to a nice 14% wipe due to several death players including 1 of the 3 tanks. And of course the famous 1% wipe right after it.
The encounter is really well tuned, we ended up with 4 stacks on all tanks and 40 seconds till enrage. Just a tip for other guilds that are attempting him. Dont get hit by any teddybears and use 5 healers.
Thanks for the players that spammed us with status and switched to a level 1 afterwards to spam NOOBS and GZ with no lag. Love and hate are close to each other, we love you to.
Currently we are looking for a good dedicated healer either a Resto shaman, druid or paladin. Also one hunter spot is open. Are you in for a laugh, nice progress and mature community dont stop here just go to the forums and apply now! And let the good times roll. For a private application whisper any officer ingame.
- Know your class
Players who know their class. What this means is we do not want players who rolled an alternate character, picked up some gear, and decided he/she wanted to play this character now. We want someone who knows their class inside and out and we expect this from all of our members
- Know what a voidzone is
We're looking for players who have extremely good environmental awareness. Boss encounters today are extremely unforgiving to tunnel visioning healers and/or DPS. You have to know where you are at all times and if you do not, your performance will show this. We're not looking for players who spend an exceptional amount of time in ice blocks, doom fire patches, in void zones, or anything else that could be considered as ridiculous as these few examples.
- Can handle constructive criticism
We're looking for players who have a great attitude towards the game and other players. We want members who enjoy raiding, enjoy the challenge the game brings, and know how to interact with other people. We spend a lot of time in this game and a "cancerous" player does nothing but bring down the entire raid. A positive raiding atmosphere is extremely important to us. Because of this, we have an absolute "zero tolerance" policy when it comes to guild drama. We're also very vocal about improving our raids and we want members who know how to take constructive criticism and learn from it. We understand that nobody is perfect but we also understand that learning from your own (or other players) mistakes is part of the progression process.
Radeon is a hardcore raiding guild with a core membership of experienced raiders. We are raiding 5 days a week. (Sun-Thu, 20:00h - 23:30h.)
Our goal is to be counted among the best raiding guilds on the server and beyond. In order to keep this status, we expect our members to be dedicated to progress rapidly and prepared to do the necessary to conquer new challenges.
Radeon members must be fair, honest and respectful to all players to prevent arguments and unhappiness within the guild, and to maintain a good guild reputation on the server. Everyone in the guild has the right to speak, and members are encouraged to contribute their opinions and ideas to improve the guild.
