About Us

Radeon is a hardcore guild with a core membership of experienced raiders. Maintaining a solid team atmosphere is very crucial to us, we like to socialize during raids and off raids. Radeon members all know one another, we do not consist of a bunch of cliques, instead the entire guild is a whole.

Radeon members must be fair, honest and respectful to all players to prevent arguments and unhappiness within the guild, and to maintain a good guild reputation on the server. Everyone in the guild has the right to speak, and members are encouraged to contribute their opinions and ideas to improve the guild.

Recruiting: We need you!

Currently we are looking for a good dedicated healer either a Resto shaman, druid or paladin. Also one hunter spot is open. Are you in for a laugh, nice progress and mature community dont stop here just go to the forums and apply now! And let the good times roll. For a private application whisper any officer ingame.

- Know your class
Players who know their class. What this means is we do not want players who rolled an alternate character, picked up some gear, and decided he/she wanted to play this character now. We want someone who knows their class inside and out and we expect this from all of our members

- Know what a voidzone is
We're looking for players who have extremely good environmental awareness. Boss encounters today are extremely unforgiving to tunnel visioning healers and/or DPS. You have to know where you are at all times and if you do not, your performance will show this. We're not looking for players who spend an exceptional amount of time in ice blocks, doom fire patches, in void zones, or anything else that could be considered as ridiculous as these few examples.

- Can handle constructive criticism
We're looking for players who have a great attitude towards the game and other players. We want members who enjoy raiding, enjoy the challenge the game brings, and know how to interact with other people. We spend a lot of time in this game and a "cancerous" player does nothing but bring down the entire raid. A positive raiding atmosphere is extremely important to us. Because of this, we have an absolute "zero tolerance" policy when it comes to guild drama. We're also very vocal about improving our raids and we want members who know how to take constructive criticism and learn from it. We understand that nobody is perfect but we also understand that learning from your own (or other players) mistakes is part of the progression process.

Festercunt and Rotfag

2009 was good and 2010 has started! After 2 weeks of slacking we started raiding again. We didn't have the perfect setup but who cares, Blizzard said "take the *cough* rogue *cough* player not the class" for a reason. After one shotting Loot Marrowgar, Lady Gaga, Funship Battle and Candybringer Saurfang.

We auto walked into the Upper spire and got one shotted, running into traps makes you cool. Finally Blizzard made some fun trash! After taking care of that we faced Festercunt. A straight forward fight with a nice enrage timer of 5 minutes. Killed it and faced Rotfag. Sorted the tanking and looted the boss.

Algalon was sent by the titans after Watcher Loken's death activated a planetary fail-safe protection, indicating possible distress on Azeroth. Algalon's task is to analyze any systemic corruption on the planet. If it's deemed beyond saving, the Titans will "re-originate" the planet to cleanse it of corruption, killing all currently living organisms in the process.

He can only be accessed if least one member of a raid has obtained the [Celestial Planetarium Key] or [Heroic Celestial Planetarium Key] in Heroic mode. Players have a one-hour window to defeat him per lockout period, starting upon first initiation of the encounter. Blizzard has sardonically referred to him as "Algalon the Raid Destroyer"

"I've seen worlds bathed in The Makers flames. Their their denizens fading without so much as whimper. Entire planetary systems born and raised in the time it takes your mortal hearts to beat once. Yet all throughout, my own heart, devoid of emotion of empathy, I have felt.... NOTHING. A million, million lives wasted. Had they all held within them your tenacity, had they all loved life as you do..."

Spring uhh Christmas break

Its almost christmas! And since most of us have a real life, we decided to have a christmas break. We will only raid 1-2 days per week till 5th of January. We wish everyone a merry christmas and don't blow your fucking arm off! Next year we will focus on keeping our current progress going with a laugh.

Frostmourne Hungers!

Time for some news. Last week we had our second kill of anub'arak, 48 attempts left! We could have 1 shotted him but the lag sickness stroke Aerie Peak again. Penetrating cold healing with 3seconds delay is kinda hard. Also decided to go back to Ulduar to get our Ironbound Drakes. In the past we didn't care that much about hardmodes but with the current members we do. Yesterday finally patch 3.3 got deployed to the live servers. After trying to get into the instance for about 1 hour, most guilds gave up thanks for that since we got in. It was quite the challenge when we got in since we had lag spikes from around 10 seconds. Once the lag settled we killed Lady Deathwhisper easily and decided to call it since it was 23.30 gametime.

We are getting a lot of whispers why we don't have a progress list on the main page. This is because we as an community know we gonna kill all hardmode bosses when the time is there. In short terms "we just don't care". If you can have a laugh on vent when your raiding, the progress will come.

Anub'arak (Heroic)

We got some news again! We started with Anub'arak a few weeks ago. We tried different bug sprays and finally found a working one BUG SPRAY 3000! Jneapan got it in his eyes on 1 of the wipes since he couldn't find the ice. Klaus his can exploded at 4%, he is in the hospital trying to recover. The tactic itself is pretty flawless, and we would recommend it to anyone that doesn't have 5 Deathknights.

Call of the Grand Crusade (25 player) 5/5 complete

Alone in the Darkness

This weekend we decided to have a little 10man marathon. Starting with Trial of the Grand Crusader 50 attempts (ps. Divine Sacrifice in phase 3 Anub'arak without a bubble doesnt work) After that we decided to go back to Ulduar to finish the last thing off and complete the game for the 10man. We had a nice wipe session for about 2 hours and finished Alone in the Darkness.

While gaining this achievement, we now have a good solid Server 2nd place till Icecrown Citadel. Currently we are still looking for a resto druid that is interested to help us progress through Icecrown Citadel 10 and 25man.
