About Us

Radeon is a hardcore guild with a core membership of experienced raiders. Maintaining a solid team atmosphere is very crucial to us, we like to socialize during raids and off raids. Radeon members all know one another, we do not consist of a bunch of cliques, instead the entire guild is a whole.

Radeon members must be fair, honest and respectful to all players to prevent arguments and unhappiness within the guild, and to maintain a good guild reputation on the server. Everyone in the guild has the right to speak, and members are encouraged to contribute their opinions and ideas to improve the guild.

Raiding and You

Just a small update about our raiding. Currently we are raiding with three 10man groups on thursday 22.00, friday night and sometimes on saturday night. We like to have some inguild competition thats why we made 3 steady groups. We also have farm raids on different days to filter out any Wednesday raiders. Our average signups per raid is around 30-33 raiders. I wanna thank everyone for our current progress and that we have a fun and mature community keep it up guys!

Faction Champions & Twin Val'kyr (Heroic)

We had a pretty decent raiding week so far. I didnt care to post anything about Faction Champions since its a shit fight, but we really enjoyed Twins. Basically its like Eredar Twins where the balls are the shadow images. We tryed several tactics on 25man normal and 10man heroic and found a really solid one with around 20% chance to fail. Nice three shot guys!

Also after a few weeks of no 10man raiding we finally got 2-3 groups running again. With some good progress awell and getting ready for Icecrown.

Lord Jaraxxus (Heroic)

After a good thursday raid and alot of weekend beers, we decided to go back! Lord Jaraxxus was playing with his gnomes, and we played abit with our penises. we had some decent sub 30% wipes. When Ptichka finally found out the secret in the fight (yes we did know we had to dps the portals). After that we just had to concentrate abit *kugh* retri paladins *kugh* 6% 3% 1% Dead! Now we have plenty of time to do some Faction Champion practice.

We also decided to recruit more players, to keep our current progress going. The content isnt hard it was harder to get 25 raiders online. So thanks for joining, the current trials will be respected as a true member from the Radeon community (now just wait for 2 weeks). keep it up!

Northrend Beasts (Heroic)

Where to start? Ok lets get going then, yesterday we went Heroic ToC for the third time. It was like christmas, 50 attempts of disconnects incoming! But not today, since we had everyone on standby that disconnects on the pull (only 4 players, we are lucky!) On the first try we had some problems with a dying tank. And on the second try we had players blowing up the raid with Burning Bile. 48 Attempts remaning we had a gnome sacrifice, thank you Kobal!  And we killed Icehowl before he even touched 1 player. Very nice tuned fight but with high dps you can easily lose 1-3 dps classes. Tuskarr's Vitality saved the day again!

We also got some sad news. Oropher decided to start doing some school work, that means he cant raid with us anymore. Finally the moment came to test our Officers/Classleadership, and it worked out really well. Everyone helped out and it was sorted in minutes. Goodjob on that!

Algalon the Observer

News is abit late, but yes we got a life aswell! *Work Work* As you all know we got 2 groups running Coliseum10 & Ulduar10 and we always raid 10man instances on friday night with some beers. Friday we decided to leave the beers and go for the redbull and Xtc. Currently this means we are in the top3 10man together with Modus Vivendi and Borderline. Some players might say 10man is no progress, i dare you to switch your brown painted Oracle drakes aswell, and avoid Ascend to the Heavens.

Call of the Crusade

Time to write some news. I could start this post with OMFG WE KILLED ANUB FIRST! But seriously nobody would care. Like last week we 1shotted 3 bosses and had some nice server lag on the Faction Champions. the good old days! Finally we faced Anub MKII after some failing on hugging snow *kuch* Jnea *kuch* we killed him. After that we decided to see how easy it is on 10man, 1 shotted everything. Although the bosses where easy the freeloot and jokes on ventrilo made up for it

HISTORY
The former king of Azjol-Nerub, Anub'arak was among the nerubians slaughtered in the War of the Spider. One of his most loyal commanders was Anub'Rekhan. Ner'zhul the Lich King raised the high lords of the Spider Kingdom as undead to do his bidding, Anub'arak among them.

Now as a malicious crypt lord, he is forced to use his powers to purge the snow swept landscape of any remaining resistance to the reign of the Lich King. Despite the pleas from his former subjects, he has been ordered to massacre many nerubians who tried to oppose the undead.

Anub'arak was raised again following his defeat at Azjol-Nerub by the Lich King to kill the champions of the Crusaders' Coliseum. He appears to be grateful to serve his master once again, however if this is true loyalty or forced obedience has yet to be seen.

I Could Say That This Cache Was Rare

After a nice raiding day on wednesday we went back to Ulduar for another hardmode. Several weeks ago during the vacations we went for Hodir hardmode but killed it in 3min and 2seconds! Now that the vacations ended we decided to go with less offspec dps and killed it in 2min and 44seconds with 191456 raid dps! That cache was not that rare after all.

I Could Say That This Cache Was Rare (25 player)

HISTORY
Hodir was one of the titanic Watchers and once resided in the Temple of Winter, lending his guidance to the frost giants in the Storm Peaks. The Sons of Hodir, a faction in the region, refer to Hodir as a father figure or creator. He disappeared after Loken's betrayal of the other titanic Watchers. It is said that the temple guardians are verified to be deceased. A sulfurous odor suggests that death resulted from a fire-base entity and that the previously established cold weather patterns at the temple have ceased.

It is possible that Hodir is the original Greatfather Winter, venerated by the dwarves and later commercialized by the goblins. He has been referred to as a "father figure" and connected to ice and snow. He also refers to the Veil of Winter in Ulduar.
